Improving Your Maths Grade: A Useful Hint

If you have big writing or you use big clear diagrams — or you just find the small grid box pattern on the exam pages off-putting — you should ask the exam supervision for some clear lined paper. You can then used these lined pages for any solutions (or parts of solutions) that you require them for a more suitable space to show your work.

But note: you probably won't need extra paper for every single question. In most cases, the spaces provided will be more than adequate.
